Reviews to Gaby's Pizza
Gaby's is a local institution in Queens. If you're from Queens you know about it, if you're not from Queens you pretend you're always in Queens just to go to it. The pizza is always fresh, crust is always crunchy. The cheese doesn't slide off and the sauce isn't too harsh, it has a nice sweetness to it. The turn around time whenever I go there is extremely fast, YOU HAVE TO SIT AND ENJOY. I only eat Gaby's when it's fresh out the oven, waiting to get home is a disservice. Never really had a rude experience and the place is always clean. A plain slice is $2.75. There's always a line, but most of the time seats are available. You'll see an older crowd down to a high school crowd. Everyone dining is pretty respectful of other diners too. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

I wanted to give Gaby ' s some credit, but I'm not impressed. I had to add my 2 cents by writing a review because noone in the borough of Queens or visiting should be hoodwinked or bamboozled.
1st off, This is not the "Best" pizza Queens has to offer. Margherita's nails pizza in Queens, hands down. When we talk fresh ingredients, SAUCE and crust, we are talking about deal breakers. The sauce here needs work. Why's it so sweet? The pizza is always soggy. I am no fan of a mushy slice. The cheese...me no like. Unsure what they're using.
Gabby ' s is offering good service. I give them that, but the quality ingredients and presentation here, is lacking. Not a fan.

Excellent pizza. They won various awards for it. If you buy 10 large pizza pies you get 1 free on your next visit if you clip the coupons on the boxes. Very thick saucy cheesy slices. Cash only so you can go to the Chase bank down at the end of the street by Francis Lewis Blvd. if needed. Fun part is looking at all the photos of celebrities and artwork around the place.

Tried the baked ziti with meatballs. Decently priced ($11.50 after tax) && came with two large meatballs. Wasn't disappointed, but wasn't taken away. Will try another dish soon to seal the deal.
P.S.: Surprised nobody has mentioned it is cash only.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!I come here pretty much any time I am craving pizza. Detroit style is best style.
The staff is friendly, laid back, and super helpful. The pizza every single slice is perfect. They have all sorts of cool styles of pizza. Come many times, try them all, enjoy them all, struggle internally on which is your favorite. This is a food truck, but the cool part is you can wait over at the bar next door and they bring your food right to you! I've made friends here, I've had amazing nightcaps here, I've come home from a hard day at work and this pizza made me forget about the daily grind.
