Funhouse

This place is really great! Great bands come thru here, they got a pull table and the dudes that run it are hot! Cheap booze and open late! If I could rent a room here and party there every night then I would! Not gonna lie to ya!

Awesome DIY punk (but not all punk) venue that harkens back to the days of when clubs like Maxwells, CBGBs, and Coney Island High existed. Ample parking and a pool table too, oh my!

This place hosts the best events in Jersey City. Very friendly staff. Great music.

Honestly the best place to go to shows in Jersey City, in my opinion. I feel like the Funhouse represents how you're supposed to see music. Its just the right size with a big stage, a bar, just enough seating and of course a pool table (which I'm a big fan of). Its the only venue that's just about the music, doesn't have the frills of all the other bars that only sometimes feature live music. Being that a band runs it, and an amazing one at that, contributes a lot to its success. Crazy & the Brains are amazing for so many reasons and their Funhouse is just one example, definitely check it out for yourself!

You know those nights you want to go listen to loud music, dance, throw fists, with beer in hand? That’s the Funhouse. The boy’s who run the joint showcase several events and a killer variety of musicians, including their own band - which are always a pleasure to see - Crazy & The Brains.

This warehouse space turned venue is a cesspool of killer times, whether you want to stumble home in drunken glory or sip and chill. Pool table? Check. Attractive people? Check. Plenty of reasonably priced brew? Check.

Be ready to hit the pit, bob your head, and do your thing. It’s one of those places where you know you can dance like no one is watching you, but everyone is and you’re definitely getting those nods of approval.

I definitely consider The Funhouse one of my recommended stomping grounds, so go check it!
