Worst food on staten island- typical wanna-be place to eat. There's nothing here on the menu that says " healthy"... They should have named the place Bland and Rubbery! Just like "Call it a Wrap"....this place should also do the same...

Food was good even my children liked it. Service was great, very accommodating. The only thing was the vegetables, I wasn't sure if they were frozen or boiled but they were kind of rubbery and a little bland.

Firstly, the food we ordered and ate was great, and the service was wonderful. At first we were hesitant to eat dinner there because it really doesn't seem setup for dinner. Only one large table and several tiny tables, probably more suited for casual juice drinking and for quick snacks. But, we stayed and enjoyed our meal.
That said, we were surprised that the ketchup on the tables and half the beverages in the refrigerator (even the "juice" drinks) contained high fructose corn syrup. How many people who are really interested in "health food" would be willing to consume that junk? And, how many "health food" stores would be serving it?
We plan to return, but hope to see other high-fructose-free options on the tables such as Del Monte and Hunts ketchup, or any organic ketchup, and truly healthy drinks that contain no high fructose corn syrup.
Pete

I have to say that I do like the food here as it's fresh-tasting. But there are a few things I didn't like. I asked for a cup of tap water and was quite surprised to see that when I got my bill I was charged $1 for it. I have never heard of a restaurant doing such a thing. And if they WANT to do that, they should TELL the customer so on the menu.
Then I ordered a juice drink which the menu said costs $4. I get my bill and they charged me $4.50. If you want to change the prices, fine. But then the menu should reflect the change.
I realize I probably come across as a cheapskate in this review but I just don't like being blatantly ripped off and that's how I'm feeling about this place.
