Try the house made ham. Yum. Goes great in Joe's world famous baked Mac and cheese. Also it was hard to find the onions. They're in the back near the cheese.

I've lived across from this market for 3 years and its the worst. Prices are high, employees are rude and variety could be better. Management never enforces anything. And they give such a hard time with "member" card, most supermarkets encourage you either sign up or use a store card not here. They would rather you leave then give the price. The only thing good about this market is its convenience otherwise go somewhere else.

Its across the street ftom my house so its a great convenience. Unfortunately, it has convenient store pricing, meaning expensive and low variety. Cashiers are nice though.

Just yesterday I went to this supermarket for the first time and I had a cashier which was the sweetest individual I've met. She was wearing scrubs so I'm guessing she goes to school or works in a hospital. However, there were only two girls working there and there was a really big line; I look to the side while I awaited and saw this manager Manny snapping his fingers at her as if she was a slave. I don't think she deserves this treatment... Yes and the person who posted below me Carolina she's tanned skinned Dominican has a nasty attitude. Unbelievable! They need to get friendly cashiers... the food and price is acceptable.

I have been shopping at this store for about a year now, and have spent a decent amount of $$$$ here. Frescho has a good product selection (for a small store) and I haven't had any problems except for occasionally bad apples (literally). Now this review takes a turn for the worse. There are two cashiers at this Freshco in West New York who have really rotten attitudes: Betty and Carolina. They both act like they are doing me a favor when they ring up and bag my groceries and take my money. I never get a "hello" or "thank you" from either one of them. They carelessly plop my receipt, and change into my hand (sometimes dropping it), and then turn their back on me, regardless of whether there's another customer in line or not. It's like they can't wait to get rid of me. To the contrary, they are very sweet and friendly with Latino customers and guys that they clearly have the hots for. The manager of the store should spend some time watching them, it's SOOO obvious. I am not a mind reader, but their attitudes and body language say "racist". Betty is the nastier of the two... A neighbor of mine (who happens to be gay and White) was shopping in the store with his Mexican boy friend (who speaks very good Spanish - hello Betty??) and overheard Betty (speaking in Spanish) about not liking homosexuals as she glared right at them with a disgusted look on her face. Well, I should say her face always looks disgusted unless, again, she's dealing with a co-worker, or a Latino customer. To the contrary, the stock guys are very nice and friendly and go out of their way to help me. I don't speak perfect Spanish, but I try, and they try to understand my Spanglish. If there was another fully stocked grocery store in the neighborhood I would not continue to shop here. But until then, I guess I will have to suffer under their bad attitudes and service. Perhaps this is why they are so nasty, because they know their store is the only "game" in town. Newsflash... W. New York is up and coming, and this won't last forever!
