Very small and cozy, but nice selection of cocktails. The food is also good. Highly recommend the avocado dip. Only a couple of beers on tap but a nice bottle selection

I really want to like this place - chill vibe, good drinks, and friendly bartenders. However I've been here a few times over the past few months, only to be greeted by a family of rats who have decided to setup camp right outside of the bar. I know this is New York and sharing the streets with our four legged friends is part of life, but a tipping point was last night when we spotted a mouse inside the bar. I've now seen rats outside of Fresh Salt on three out of four visits. Until they can get a handle on their rodent problem I won't be coming back.

Small local bar. Service is good and the staff is full of characters. Go for the drinks and atmosphere -- besides basic bar food you are better off eating elsewhere.

This is such a great find near the Seaport! I fell in love with my now boyfriend after many long evenings after work in the summer at this bar. They have very limited seating and it's rustic decor and laid back atmosphere. The bartenders are very friendly, the small bites are great, and they have decent specials.
I've never been here for brunch, but I read that it's one of the best small brunches in the city. Fresh Salt will always have a special place in my heart, definitely the best small bar in this tourist heavy area.

Small quite dark bar does decent beer and really nice sandwiches. Ask the staff for the Wi-Fi password.
