Dropped off pants to be hemmed on a Tuesday, picked up on Friday. Realized Friday night they were never hemmed. Called them Friday around 6:45 (which is around close) and was told to come in Saturday morning at 7:30am and was assured they would be hemmed immediately on the spot while I waited. I needed the pants that day for a wedding at 1pm. I was told the store opens at 7, but to come in at 7:30am which is when the tailor would arrive. Drove there Saturday morning and the place was still closed,shutters down. I wasn't even angry just truly disappointed. I favor local places over big chain places so I get the personal attention.
To be fair this was the first time I used Freds, however a friend went to Freds who was also attending the same wedding, and his pants were hemmed and pressed.
