Beautiful views, calm. Best to go when visibility is good.

Go on a beautifully sunny day. Like most of Roosevelt Island, you feel like you are removed from the city but have beautiful views back to the Manhattan and Queens skylines.

Beautiful park and incredible views of Manhattan. The management is so terrified of lawsuits though the entire place is carefully policed by security guards who enforce how you sit or how close you get to the water. It's like being watched by overbearing, neurotic parents.

Wow, simply stunning. Super clean, peaceful, with some of the best views of the city. This is truly a getaway. Everyone there wants to be there because it takes some time to get to and is out of the way of everything else. If you're visiting Roosevelt Island, which is already a good idea, make sure not to miss visiting this park. I believe it is closed on Tuesdays and after 5 or 6 pm on other days so make sure it is open before you visit.
