These guys know paint! All of my experiences here have been awesome. I went away feeling confident that I had not only the right kind of paint, but the right color! The prices are competitive and even cheaper than my local hardware store. PLUS, it bears repeating that they are experts when it comes to paint and painting. Everyone I've dealt with has been professional, friendly, and attentive to my needs. A real jewel. Thanks Franklin & Lennon!

I've been getting paint and supplies from these guys for years without a problem. They were recommended to me by others in the maintenance business. Maybe, they don't work as well for the dyi guy. I call in the paaint by the numbers and the next day I have it. Never had a problem with them in ten years

Benjamin Moore paint is arguably the best paint on the market from my research (low VOCs and you can get away with one coat of paint. I went to this store to buy 2 gallons of Benjamin Moore paint (~$50 a gallon). The gentleman who helped me the first day was knowledgeable and charismatic. He had someone mix the paint and handed it all to me in a box. When I got home and took the paint out of the box, I realized one of the cans was severely dented.
The day I was planning to paint, I opened the can to see if it was mixed - the paint was not mixed at all. There were swirls of color in the paint. I took it back to the store thinking that since I'm paying so much for paint there should be no problem and they would simply realize their mistake and mix me a new can of paint. There were two different older gentlemen behind the counter this time. And, after I should them the can of paint, they immediately claimed that a can of paint that dented would never have left the store. I explained that I was not lying and had I been lying to them the paint would have been properly mixed since the dent would not have reduced the volume to prevent mixing. However, they chose to focus on the fact that I "accepted" the paint so it was my fault. When I explained that the cans were in a box and had I noticed the damaged can I would have said something, they again focused on the fact that I accepted the can. One of the owners went as far as to tell me that I was a "dope" for accepting the can.
I find that such business practices are simply unacceptable. Luckily, the employee who mixes the paint was well mannered and respectful to me during this experience. He opened the can and showed the owners that the paint wasn't mixed properly, meaning the can was damaged before it left the store - the color didn't match the color I had ordered at all. Finally, they decided to mix me a new can of paint. I would not recommend this paint store. I can see if a customer is clearly lying to you, maybe a store owner should give them a hard time, but not if there is clear evidence that they are being truthful. If you do choose to go here, make sure you watch them pull a can, make sure there are no dents on the can and go and watch them mix the paint. Then have them open the paint for you after it is finished mixing and check to make sure the paint is properly mixed and the correct color - have them check it with your color- dip a finger in the paint and wipe it on the swatch of color to check it.
