Frank's Bike Shop

Very good prices. Riding by bike through New York is a whole other experience. The bikes are a little old but in perfect shape. The staff is very friendly, service is great. Would go and rent a bike there again.

I just went to Frank's Bike Shop after falling off my eBike. The chain was too loose and popped off. I asked a young man there for help. He said, "We don't work on that kind of bike." "Maybe you can just give me a suggestion on how to fix the loose chain?" I was bleeding from my hand. "We don't fix that kind of bike," he said and just walked away like I was trash. I live a block away. Got home. Fixed the cut. Looked on YouTube. Found the answer I was looking for. Fixed the bike. No rudeness. No attitude. I won't patronize Frank's again. I don't need the rudeness in a community of generally good neighbors.

I really wanted to buy a bike here but I stood there for 20mins and nobody asked if I needed help and they really weren't paying any attention so I gave up and went somewhere else.

I’ve been to about a dozen bike shops south of 14th st and Frank’s beats them all. Fast, extremely knowledgeable (seriously the team is an encyclopedia of bike knowledge), and the prices are at par or cheaper than everywhere else. Always a great experience. Plus if you can think of a part, they’ve got it somewhere.
