The following review was not considered by the software of YELP as helpful and was lumped together with 9 other reviews which flunked their criteria. It was recorded there on March 28, 2015.
I had to write a review because of three other bad reviews of him in YELP.
I would have given him 5 stars, if he had fought harder with the buyers and their lawyer. They gave us a hell. They were something. Even after a contract was signed with two amendments with a clause "AS IS" in the amendment, after inspection report and waiting periods, they were coming with demands for credits for various perceived problems.
My real estate broker recommended him.
Before I hired him, I contacted three other real estate lawyers all with glowing self referrals and web-referrals. I had a special case. I was moving away from NJ to GA and did not want to come for closing the transaction. So I asked these three lawyers over the phone about fees, what they will do , closing problems and giving a power of attorney, etc.
It became apparent to me they did not know much about real estate closing . They will do it on the fly.
Then I contacted Mr. Ciambrone's office over the phone. He called me back in the evening for the new business. We talked for a short while. Made an appointment for a face to face meeting.
Talked with him and raised the issue of three bad comments in YELP. He was aware of the comments. But he claimed that they were not his clients. But knew who they were and why they commented like that. I did not pursue this thread further . I asked about my specific case. And hired him.
He DID return my calls,. Yes, his calls were screened in the front office. But they forwarded my phone when they were told I was his client.
Teri, the legal assistant (?) , was very helpful and efficient.
I am happy that the deal was finally closed with his assistance.
