Beds are comfy, rooms are kept clean, service is excellent.
My only complaint is that there were people smoking in their rooms on my floor even though there were signs explicitly stating that it was prohibited. There was a maid that was well aware of the room that the smoking was coming from but did nothing to enforce the policy or get someone that could. I don't care if people smoke but I absolutely cannot tolerate being forced to breathe it myself anytime I wanted to leave my room.

Good size room. Bar in the lobby, big bonus. Price was good for NY, staff was courteous and allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel while we were out and about. Worth checking out if you need a spot to crash in the soho tribeca area

Meh. Tiny room. Extremely leaky shower door. Very close to the 1 train (convenient location). Friendly staff. Loud AC (but it worked).

When we checked in for our two-double room, they gave us a king room and said there was no 2 bed rooms. The room quality is reasonable for Manhattan, though.

It was a nice room. Good wifi and an ethernet cable on the desk.
There's construction happening next door (August 2015) which is pretty loud during the day. And some sort of music venue one block back - which did wake me up a couple times.
The staff were super nice.
The biggest hassle was that taxes weren't included in the booking price and I never received my final bill. The extra charge came to about $250. To add to the confusion, a staff member told me the extra billing was an incidentals hold and would be refunded a few weeks later. Obviously when the refund never came, I had to chase it up a few weeks later to figure these extra charges were just a bunch of taxes. It didn't help that while making this international call, the person at the hotel phone was a bit rude and talked to me like we were in the army... 'Please sir, stop talking. I need you to repeat your last name slowly. Sir, all I asked you for was your last name, now please stop talking, now I've gone and pressed the wrong button, I need your name again sir'. I couldn't make it up. Felt like I was on candid camera or something,
