Happy to report a positive experience with this company. After having been to a couple of so called porsche shops in Brooklyn only to find out they are bmw, volvo, whatever mechanic shops that have no idea how to fix a porsche I finally said enough is enough. No point in penny pinching and they do not allow outside parts but my Cayenne was fixed properly. Had a air suspension problem for two years. The guys here knew how to calibrate it and get me back on the road. I was close to selling the truck but they were able to fix it and fully service the car better than the dealer. Car never ran so well. It is smooth and agile. Very positive.

I'm very happy to find Mike and formula motorsports. Quick note there is a car wash called formula 1-this is not the same place! Spending over one hundred thousand dollars on a car at porsche and having an issue within the first few thousand miles is very disappointing . I brought the car to my dealer in NJ a total of three times to solve my engine light that came on with no luck. Having heard from coworkers who both had a Porsche this was certainly an issue that must be addressed. Off one of their recommendations I emailed Mike who responded back with exactly what he thought the issue was with all of the technical information one would expect from a factory engineer. I did have to wait 3 days before bringing in my car as they we booked. Get this. Car was repaired the same day I brought it in. Mike purchased the part needed from Porsche and done! Turned out to be a sensor part. What does it matter. Point is job got done quick and right. Was not cheap by no stretch of the imagination but I was more than fine with paying to have a problem no one else could fix get fixed. Mike did explain to me that in a service like this without having Porsche software and documentation the neighborhood and even porsche mechanic at the dealer would be lost and not to blame them. I will say he comes off a little blunt but I rather someone coming off blunt and confident than confused and deflecting my issue blaming my driving which I was told form the dealer. Like all the other reviewers I will recommend Mike and all the guys there and will be using them for everything. Very disappointed with dealer service. I felt they really had no idea about Porsche repairs and were there to sell cars only. I wish they would have had at least one person who knew about cars after I spent six figures with them.

Great Experience. Michael introduce me to the world of Porsches previous to my 911 purchase and now i have a pice of mind that if anything goes wrong i will have Formula Motorsport resolve the issue. They are great value to the Porsche community in NY and the Tri-State area

I was referred to Formula Motorsports through the NY chapter of the Porsche Club of America.

Formula has been in the business since 60s….Needless to say thorough and know their stuff. It’s a family run shop, and the rates are reasonable.

Built a very quick relationship with formula motorsports and Michael personally. I am writing this review for him based on the stellar service I received there. I own a 2014 Cayenne Turbo and brought my car in for it's first service and bodywork. All the staff were professional, helpful, and gave me constant email updates with pictures over the 4 days the whole repair took. After spending some time there during the day just checking out the cars I happened to see a quite terrible set of circumstances arise with another client due to no cause of the shop. I was more than happy to leave a review after this person tried to tarnish their name. Michael and his team went above and beyond to assist a disrespectful client who was very upset he needed to wait for service without an appointment. I made mine 1 week in advance as one would expect in New York City. Fortunately he kept his cool and went by the book on client relations. They are all professionals and happen to do great work. Michael gave me all of the service prices up front and bill was accurate. People need to understand that good service is hard to come by. Formula gives great quality service from what I saw first hand and would be happy to recommend them to friend of mine.
