Formica Construction Inc

My wife and I purchased a brand new home from Kenny Formica of Formica Construction Co Inc. on march 3rd, 2011. We have expired nothing but headache and grief in the past 18 months, our wooden floors had to be refinished, every single kitchen tile had to be taken up & then reset, had to replace a coil in our central a/c compressor, we replaced all our light switches and outlets due to the fact that the originals were starting to spark, our 2 front banisters are loose and not secure, front and back gutters are not properly secured to our house and not connected properly to our drywell drainage system in our backyard. We have a non working drain, which has never worked, that is our biggest problem and caused our basement to flood last August. Since then to prevent our basement flooding again we have 2 sump pumps in our backyard and 1 in our basement. The house came with a one year new home warranty which Kenny has refused to honor, we are currently in court with Formica Construction Co. Inc. over our drainage situation. 7/30/13...Its now been about 8 months since I first started to write this review, the wife and I have spent over $20,000 in repaiirs and legal fees and we still need to do more repairs and spend more money to prevent water from seeping into our basement. In May we found out from a licensed plumber that our inside main sewer line which leads out to the back of the house is also not pitched correctly, it should be pitched at a downward angle to allow the water to flow naturally, but when he ran a camera down the line he discovered that after 17 feet we have standing water because the pipe is not angled properly which has caused us to have 3 sewer back ups in our basement laundry room in the 2 1/2 years since we purchased our brand new house. The wife and I finally went to trial back on June 4th, representing ourselves because we could no longer afford to retain a lawyer and we lost the case. Kenny Formica had a lawyer and he lied under oath, if he knew for sure that all the problems that we have endured was not due to poor workmanship and materials used by his workers or himself why lie under OATH! If his company did us no wrong then why would he LIE on the stand.
