Typical grocery store. Has most food items. Produce can be hit an miss for some things, and not all produce items are à la carte (e.g., jalapeños are sold in packages of 10 or more which is kind of annoying). The beer selection is very good for a grocery store. There are discounts on many items if you have a membership card.

Great store - clean - inviting and good products- The deli guys are some of the friendliest and funniest people around and Santana - the manager is one of the nicest, helpful, service oriented people in any store around. I like him and I see that other customers like him and he treats the staff with a lot of respect.

Hurricane Update: Foodtown was clearly prepared for the storm with the necessities. I was able to find milk, cheese, water and other items the evening before the storm. Thank you for being so well-stocked!
This is Kensington's grocery store and they certainly show it with various area posts on the bulletin boards in-house.
I've never been disappointed by their fruits, vegetables and cheese selection. And the beer? This place has an entire section of craft beers and in the "regular" aisle, carries Red Stripe and various Brooklyn Brewery beers!
