The worse. .. after a 1 yr lease they tried to jack up the rent a whole $400 ... then they want u to go back and forth to court just to fight for an Apt . the mail room is horrible had to take off of work for 2 days just to receive packages around Xmas time .. the boiler blew and was Neva notified but they notify us when the management office is open for rent money ..... roaches everywhere even after a bomb the apt .. had to plug holes to keep mice out .. had to take the kitchen stink a part just to fill holes ... PLEASE STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN

Horrible! Please do not move here, the apartments are roach and bedbug infested; and it takes FOREVER TO GET THE MAINTENANCE to fix anything. After 5 years of living there I had to move. My ceilings kept falling down and the floors were incredibly loose. The neighborhood is good, you are close shopping, manhattan, and downtown brooklyn.

Absolutely horrible. Stay way at all costs. Classic slum lord, scammers. They reel you in with a great preferential rent and then jack it up like crazy even though they are advertised as "rent stabilized" buildings. No way to get a lease without the preferential rent clause which then makes it NOT rent stabilized. All employees are rude, no one EVER picks up the phone, impossible to get a repair worker to your apartment even if there is a huge celling leak or bedbugs coming in from your gross neighbor's apartment. There are HUGE roaches that crawl all over the laundry room and in your hallways. There is guy who sells crack openly in the courtyard. It was hell living here. They make it sound like a luxury apartment building when they are selling it to you and they don't even mention it is actually a former project that was privatized a few years ago. STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY!!

Worse place ever they never pick up the damn phone in the mangament office they barely fix anything then got the never to ask 1450 for a 1 bedroom for the new tenets please !!!! Then when I was behind my rent they left me a letter saying have 5 days to pay or they taking me to correct guess when they left the letter? The night before my 5th day was up! !!! Can't wait for my lease to be over

I have lived in an apartment at flatbush gardens for 1 year. I have recently been trying for about 3 weeks so far to sign my lease to renew my apartment and it has been a very difficult experience. The management office was inflexible and not understanding when I asked how I could renew my lease if I work 9-6 M-F, which is when the management office is open. They have hung up the phone multiple times on me, yelled at my husband in person, and have consistently reacted rudely to our inquiry about how to sign the renewal form when I work every day and I am the only one on the lease. It has been a degrading and difficult experience and there has been no resolution or help from Flatbush Gardens.
