Let me start by saying that I have never posted a review online before. After hiring John at Flanagan Productions to be the videographer for my wedding last year, I was compelled to do so.
In the early phase of our wedding planning, I was referred by a friend to Flanagan Productions of Secaucus, NJ. Having no experience at the time with videography (or weddings!), I gave them a call and was pleased to immediately be in contact with the owner, John Flanagan himself. After a few minutes, I knew immediately that I had found the right company. Not only was he friendly and helpful with all of our questions, his services were top notch and were highly reviewed across the entire state (something that was very important to my soon-to-be bride!). They also had GREAT pricing, as their packages included far more “bang for the buck” then other vendors we researched. After reviewing the different wedding packages that they offered and a few more emails to John asking for his recommendations and advice, we signed on the dotted line and had secured our wedding videographer!
Our day came and it was right out of a fairy-tale. The weather was perfect and my best friend finally became my Wife. It was truly the best day of my entire life. John was with us that entire day crafting the perfect video and capturing all of the special moments to ensure we could “relive” the day for decades to come. From the toast with my groomsman before the ceremony to the moment we became Husband and Wife…to the frenzy on the dance floor for hours later, he caught it all in stunning high definition video.
A few months after our wedding, my Wife and I were devastated to discover that our wedding photographer (Wedding Photo Connections) closed shop and left without a trace. Taking ALL of our wedding photos and thousands of dollars of our money with them. To say we were distraught was an understatement. It seemed like a bad dream. In desperation, I contacted every wedding vendor we knew, and asked if there was ANYONE that might have personal contact information for anyone within the photography company (hoping that somehow we might be able to track them down).
Within hours, John immediately contacted me and expressed his disbelief and incredible compassion to our situation. While he was not the photographer and had no responsibility to get involved, he proceeded to do EVERYTHING he could to help us. In addition to making sure we had the PERFECT wedding video (which included several special requests from us), he also helped us secure some additional photos that we would not have had otherwise. He then followed up with me almost a dozen times to ensure that we loved the video, and to see if there was anything else he could do to help us given the loss of our pictures. His kindness was overwhelming. I just cannot say enough good things about Flanagan Productions. We are very blessed to have hired them, and they will always have our endorsement and gratitude.
