The food was okay but buyer bewared when going to this restaurant. Particularly with a party of 5 or more. I went w/ 4 of my friends to celebrate a birthday and when the bill came they not only put an automatic 18% gratuity tip on the bill but they screwed us even more adding insult to injury by taxing the entire bill including the tip. I've been going to restaurants even nicer then this that were also on the water and never have I been taxed on a tip. Much less have I ever been charged a gratuity when our party is only 5 people. We all felt as if we were taken. I'm writing this review in the hopes others won't have to endure the same fate.
Also as far as the rice is concerned they do NOT tell you that corn is in it. I'm not allowed to have any corn, not even corn flakes and to just say it is "Seasoned rice" is NOT good enough. I could've been physically made ill by this. They're very fortunate I wasn't . I did NOT eat the rice once I realized that it had corn in it.
So buyer beware this is one restaurant we will NEVER step foot in again and I recommend if you're thinking of going here you simply rethink that!

This seafood restaurant is very crowded. The main attractions is to call ahead of time, to ensure that you get a table near the picture size windows of the inlet. The food is okay. There is a large assortment of fish, chicken, and steak. I ordered the baked clams, which were okay. I felt there was too much bread stuffing. The st peter fish francaise was very good. I ordered a side of ziti with red sauce. One of my friends ordered the market salad, which was a side salad. It was very big for a side salad. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. The prices are moderate to expensive. I would go back if I was in the area.

I came to the Fisherman's Catch for lunch I was able to dock my boat at their slip and sit outside and eat the best lobster roll I have ever gotten on Long Island! My husband had the tuna and avocado sandwhich which was so fresh and delicious! Beautiful view definately recommend!!!

We have been coming here for almost 15 years and although we enjoyed our drink outside during happy hour and then dinner in the dining room, we actually were tiring of the same menu and on a nice day wanted to dine outside which was not an option. There was no service outside. We tried one more time and was very pleasantly surprised. They now have waiter service outside for drinks and a really good and new menu. The menu consists of many light appetizers and dinner items like lobster rolls, shrimp salad etc. More in- line with outdoor summer dining. No heavy meals. This is now once again our favorite place for late afternoon drinks and food. The atmosphere and staff is excellent too. You will love Fisherman's Catch!
