I totally disagree with the comments here. I found this to be an outstanding healthcare practice. I have only seen the nurse practitioner but I have 100% confidence in her ability and I was very grateful that her manner is calm and professional. I would prefer to have a competent and knowledgeable Nurse Practitioner or a Physicians Assistant than a doctor who is not helpful or current with today's practices.

I like that this place didn't have a long waiting time (I was the first on a weekday morning though). And the office is very clean. The only complaint I have is that they couldn't take my x-rays since the doctor was not working that day, and only the nurse practitioner was available.

This place is a joke. A real doctor is not there most of the time, only a "nurse practitioner". I had no choice, either wait few days (because it was the weekend) or see a medical professional asap so I wound up at this place for the 2nd time and both times, I had to make an emergency appointment with a real doctor. To top it off, the lady in the front was rude and not helpful at all.

Soon as the the Obamacare was initiated clinics such as the FirstMed of NJ began to sprout up like weeds everywhere. I went to get a cough checked out by one of their physicians at Firstmed some time ago. He began going through the check list through a tablet computer which I assumed is where he got his diagnosis. We further discussed my symptoms and decided on x-rays. The x-rays proved inconclusive. Now through all the 15min visit I'm wondering how much his going to charge my insurance. Yeah, I care about that since we all have to pay for it. Overall I felt like he was one of those Doctors that do care about the patients but not about how much it going to cost them.

And when I got the bill they charged a fifteen minute visit and x-ray over $400. I really hate these clinics that use the cover of "serving the community" when it's really about padding the pockets.

I suspected a fracture in my wrist and wanted a quick x-ray to confirm. I was able to be seen quickly and the service was great. The doctors went over my x-rays with me in detail. I called ahead to get pricing information and it was accurate. They were also the cheapest amongst the places I called. My x-rays were negative which made my experience so much better.
