Just had the person from firstaidcpu come to my apartment and help me out. The whole experience was great, which entailed me calling them on the phone and then meeting them up for free diagnostics on what problem my laptop is having.
The guy was extremely helpful on the phone as we talked for about 10 minutes on what seemed to be the problem on my computer. When I called Capcom computers nearby, the guy seemed pretty grumpy and told me it would cost me $25 or something for them to just look a my computer which is fuckin ridiculous. So I went with firstaid instead
Tried to find the store but couldn't because apparently it was hidden within a residential apartment complex. The guy actually came out of the apartment to come meet me.
Very personable and friendly experience overall. I didn't get to decide if I should go through with the repair process or not so I can't comment on that but the two touch-points of phone ocnversation and free consulting was great in my opinion. Would definitely use them again in the future. highly recommend
