Fine Fare Supermarket

Was accused of stealing two items that I had purchased previously from Foodtown grocery store before coming into this establishment. As I was paying for the one last item I had been looking for all day and found in the store, my experience went downhill. A Security guard showed no tack when he reached for my personal belongings from Foodtown and essentially accused me of stealing. When I opened my Foodtown bags to produce a receipt, he grabbed my food (personal property at this point) without my permission and then tried to ring them up on the store register. Statements of "I did not steal these items", "I have a receipt", "check your cameras" fell on deaf ears. Luckily for me I had a receipt to prove that what I had in those bags was mine. I have never been so utterly violated, harassed and racially profiled in any establishment like this and never plan to purchase anything from this store again in the future. I would encourage all to shop elsewhere to avoid such harassment as experienced.

My experience with this fine fare location has been HORRIBLE! I moved into the neighborhood about three weeks ago and have been to this store about five or six times now. The first couple of times werent so bad, although I did notice that there selection of fruit that is sold in the front refrigerator (berries and melons) were damn near rotten already. To this day I have never been able to buy my daughter fruit from there because it is no good! About a week ago I went in to buy ice cream, got home looked inside and the ice cream was unrecognizable. It looked like slime. Went back to exchange it (my toddler really wanted some ice cream.) but EVERY single Flavor in that brand was just as bad or worse. We ended up just getting our money back. Few days ago we visted again. I was in a rush to get my fussy child home so checking the date on a quick kid frozen microwave meal we purchased totally slipped my mind. Luckily I checked it before giving it to my child because it turned out to be over a month old!

Really good selection of produce and dry goods. Well organized and staff knows where things are. Highly recommended for neighbors.
