Felton Veterinary Services

Dr. Felton has been Mackenzie's Vet since he was ten weeks old. He just turned 15 and as a Bearded Collie his life expectancy is 12 to 14 years. His longevity is a credit to Dr. Felton as she has diagnosed his problems such as Epilepsy and has always been dedicated to his well being. I once called her with a problem and she told me to observe him and she called me back about a week after to follow up and never charged me a dime for her time on this occasion.

What a wonderful example of what a Vet should be. She will always be my vet of choice as long as I reside in the New York Metropolitan Area.

She is the vet my daughters take their dogs to.

I have two cats and have been going to Felton Veterinary Services since 2006. I love them. The techs are nice, the doctors are friendly, and they've helped my cats get through some health troubles.

Felton Vet isn't cheap, but prices are perfectly in line with other vets in NYC/Brooklyn and they haven't raised their prices in quite a while.

They also don't guilt you into getting expensive procedures. They're honest about cost/benefit analysis and they'll actually listen to your situation and offer advice.

It's the only vet I've used in Brooklyn and I'd never go anywhere else.

We adopted our cat from BARC almost a year ago and have been taking her to see Dr. Felton since. We started out going there because the location was convenient, but we have stuck with them because of the great knowledgeable service. Dr. Felton and the staff have all been amazingly helpful, considerate, and full of answers. When our cat is sick, Dr. Felton always takes the time to explain the situation to us. Also, even though we are just average clients (our cat has been sick a few times, but nothing out of the ordinary) every time we call or come in, they recognize our kitty immediately and call her by name.
I'm actually pretty shocked at the (albeit very few) negative reviews I've read here. No, the prices are not "cheap," but they are certainly reasonable for New York / Brooklyn, and for the great service being provided. Our experience with Dr. Felton has been nothing but positive, and we have a lot of faith in her as our vet.
