Went to ship a cellphone and they did not even have the proper packaging. One of the bosses assured me that they would have it by Friday and told me to call first. I called all day and got no answer. All i kept getting was a voice mail recording. This was not a good experience at all for me.

Had a great experience with orange UPS Store!!!!!

Was there at 9:00 am its now 9:15 and the store still hasnt opened. The tel# for the store is disconnected . Smh

To Whom This May Concern,

My name is Juliette Clarke Hiwat and I am a 58 year old woman. I want to bring a serious situation to your attention. On Friday, October 10, 2015 around 10 am I went to the UPS store on 278 Main Street in Orange, New Jersey. There was a sign at the door stating be back in 5 minutes. I waited 7 minutes. A senior man was standing at the door with a parcel in his hand and said to me that he is standing there 15 minutes already.

A lady was passing by and heard the gentleman complaining about this facility. She turned around and said that the employee was next door in the Family Dollar store running his mouth. Being that I am a Bus Driver and on a time schedule I went next door to the Family Dollar store stood in the door and asked who was responsible for UPS next door. The UPS employee looked at me in his uniform and said with a smirk on his face “I'll be there in a minute”.

Upon his arrival in the store he helped the senior and when it was my turn I gave him an unopened box that Verizon had send to me. The UPS employee took a box cutter and open the Verizon box. I said to him that Verizon had send me the box in error so I did not open the box . He than yelled at me and told me to relax. I asked him “What do I have to relax for?” He, then, took the box and threw it towards me and all the items were on the floor. He told me to take the “F**king box and leave the F**king store”. At that moment I was in total shock. Then he came from behind the counter in my face and started threatening me and told me that he would “beat the hell out of me”.

He left me without any options so I had to call 911. When the police arrival he lied and told the police that I threatened him and he refused to accept the box that he had opened. I called my son and the police went with my son in the store and he told my son in the presence of the police that he has a “black belt degree” and that my son will get hurt. My son said okay and walked out.

The police tried to get me to go somewhere else to mail the box but I refused because I felt that this is his job and he has to do it. To avoid a confrontation I asked my son and his friend to mail the package while I was shaking all over my body. I asked the officer to accompany my son's friend and the police called me and asked me if I could come in the store. When I went in the store the UPS worker apologized and told me he was sorry and that he should not have thrown the box and come in my face. But the damage had been done.

I suffer from hypertension and diabetes so you can only imagine what happened to me. I want to asked anyone responsible for this UPS store to take actions against this man before someone else get hurt.

What was so strange to me that I visited the same store the week before and this same man handled my package without opening it. The customer who was there before me he never opened his package. But because I addressed him he got mad and took the box cutter and open the box.

Would you be so kind to please pull the surveillance tapes from that day, October 10, 2015 around 10am. The surveillance tapes will clearly show you that HE was the aggressor, He was the one that threw the box and thank God it didn't hit me, that He is the one that threatened me. I also believe that you should even pull the surveillance tapes from Family Dollar around the same time to attest to the UPS worker's reaction when I asked who was working next door at the UPS Store.
This has caused me a great deal of stress and duress. I am still in shocked that this happened to me and I fear that this will happen again because he is obviously a loose canon.

Was there today until 9:05. Nobody was there. Being late 35 (probably 65) minutes is inexcusable. Had to ship via post office and that cost me like $20 more.
