One of the "original" Middle Eastern grocery stores in the area. The best place to get all the "homeland" ingredients you can't find in conventional supermarkets. Not too large and not too small, the store is perfect size for quick shopping. They also have a restaurant in the back for shawarma, falafel, etc. if you happen to stop by hungry.
Family has been going here for years and we've never been disappointed. Family owned store with friendly staff.

I went to get meat even after they closed down the meat section and they were kind enough to open it and cut the chicken for me. Great service!

Really great place with nice and helpful staff and some really good food in the back. Me and my dad always stop and eat there when not too far away.

Really great Syrian/Lebanese grocery and bakery. We used to go to Sahadi's when we lived in Brooklyn but found this place in Patterson after moving to Montclair - almost as good. Breads are amazing (you are probably eating Fattal's pita if you order a falafel at any area restaurant), meats also great and inexpensive. Also their olives, pickles, dry goods, spices, cheeses, persian cucumbers, etc are top notch and also inexpensive. They also have a cafe in the back serving hot sandwiches, fresh baked zatar bread and killer falafels. The only thing missing is the big deli counter w lots of prepared foods (Sahadi's rules here) but overall highly recommend Fattals

i used to go there and buy everything i need from there but i had 2 bad experience i purchase dates and they were really bad very old the guyworks there told me they are fraish and it was all bad the second experiance was i got about 10 boxes of baklawa to take overseas when we open them they was bad and old and smells bad as well i couldn't do anything about it since i was 13000 miles away i swear to my self it will be the last time i will step that store again …..old stuff shame on fattals
