yea don't know about all these reviews posted here no offense but the food is not that good got chicken shish plate and lamb shish plate food didn't sit well still feel blah soup was OK people nice not a fan of the food wont eat there again

Excellent falafel - always made fresh while you wait. The middle eastern platter is also excellent. Also love the chicken kebob sandwich. I had the gyro once but it was a bit tendony - maybe just a bad batch. Anyway, I love this guy. He really makes you feel welcome and seems to really care about what he does. Prices are very reasonable too.

Like it's already been said in other reviews, the owner is extremely friendly and personable. I was honestly taken aback on my first visit at how welcoming he was to me. The gyro I had was great and price was competitive. Places like this in NYC are rare joys.
PS - I only wish they were a little more internet friendly. Their website is just 2 typo-littered pages - one of which is a Menu page with no menu available.

Love it. Great falafel and grape leaves!!! I stop by whenever im on this side of the island for a tasty snack or meal.

Clean restaurant, very nice owner and staff. Very good food. They are willing to explain the different meals and also adjust to your liking. Not expensive. I recommend this restaurant.
