Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que

During the winter months when you crave a little bbq, this is the place to visit, food is always delish. Staff is ok, ambience looks like a cottage , very nice.

This is my favorite BBQ on Long Island. It is a chain restaurant but the quality of the ribs and side dishes are great!
Not for dieters unless you feel like cheating.....

It was pretty good. It is a bit to chain feeling for me. Everyone i was with seemed to enjoy their meals. The waitress was a bit slow but they were kinda busy so thats OK I guess.

I enjoy the food very much, but the service was not that great at the one in westbury. I had to wait a while for a waiter to come the manager end up coming over to tell us that our waiter will be right over then ask about our drinks. I also order a salad and it came with my dinner which I didn't get to eat it. Once again the manager bought it over to me. Which the manager came over twice. I feel the manager was a better waiter then our own. After I left there I was not feeling that great. So I couldn't enjoy the rest of my night. I probably most likly will not be going back to famous Dave's for a while.

SOOOOOO DISSAPPOINTED. My husband, 10 month old and I went to the Westbury location on Wednesday 8/5/2015. We ordered two entrees and two drinks from the happy hour menu. The drinks were ok nothing substantial. We also ordered wings (traditional) in the buffalo sauce which were pretty tasty until I tried the celery and when I picked it up, there it was, A HUGE FLY covered in buffalo sauce. Called over the waiter who had no response, he picked up the plate and went to the back. We waited for about 5 minutes and he never returned. So we got up and left. On our way to the car I saw our waiter in the kitchen still talking to staff with the plate in his hands. Thanks but no thanks for the free additional protein.
