Fairway Market

Not for the high end food products they sell, but I give it one star because of the staff!
They are rude, surly and treat the customer like "They" are doing "You" a favor by answering your question. They all look like they, as a group, sucked on a giant lemon before clocking in for work which doesn't exactly make for a pleasant shopping experience for the customer. They totally treat the people with contempt however, amongst themselves, it's one big happy club.
I only go there when I absolutely need to which today, I absolutely needed to which reinforced my prior opinion of this place.
I wish the owners of the Coffaso's would take a cue from Whole Foods where employees are so incredibly friendly and helpful and insist that they do likewise.Until that day, I will continue to keep away from this place like the plague.

nice store. friendly staff for the most part. cashiers could be more friendly but the guys on the floor are nice. prices are ok and they have just about everything you may be looking for. the shopping experience is more efficient than big box stores.

Great produce, prepared food is excellent, prices are competitive, Quality of employees and service do not match the quality of the food. Service is lacking and checking out is confronting unhappy unsmiling employees. I love to shop there for the quality, but I can't wait to get out of there.

I have been shopping at this market since 1970 when their grandparents were still avlive.
Their produce is always tops and resonablely priced. I have never had a problem with
anything in this store; and if there is , I'm certain it will be taken care of to your satisfaction.

The food is good but I have to agree with the people about the customer service. Most specifically the people handling the delivery service. They charge you an outrageous $12 delivery fee. Then you feel bad for the poor driver so you tip him too. Ends up costing you $20 for a delivery. You unpack your food only to find out things are ALWAYS missing and then you're ALWAYS billed for items you never even asked for. Everytime I've placed a delivery order the guy has had to come back two hours later to get it right. You call the store and try to straighten it out nicely and you're given an attitude by the management team that clearly hates their lives. I've never seen anything like it. When you ask to have your order read back (because they screw it up EVERY TIME) they act like you're asking them to work 30 hours of over time. Then they read it back and it's still wrong. It's like an episode of Seinfeld. Won't be ordering from them again. This place has good food but lots of places have good food. Not worth the aggravation or attitude.
