Fair Lawn Econo Wash Laundromat

Great place to do your laundry! This laundromat is clean, well lit, and everything works well. I used to go to another laundromat, but after multiple times of loading the machine with money and then finding it didn't work, I started coming here. I've never had a problem with this one. This is SO much better than any of the others that I have gone to.

The staff is very nice but can't say so much for the owner. I've been coming here for a long while at least once maybe twice a week. I had an incident with one of the machines ruining a piece of my clothing and I didn't even get the courtesy of a phone call from the owner. The woman was very apologetic and said she would have the owner call me and after leaving countless messages I still have not received a call two weeks later. I will never be a patron there again.

Don't believe any negative reviews!! This laundromat is the place to go in Fair Lawn to get your clothes washed. The place is kept very clean, all machines work well and are clearly marked and labeled. It's the only laundromat I will use in Fair Lawn.

Much better than my building laundry. The laundromat is located close to my apartment. It's clean, the equipment works and I'm able to get my laundry done while running my errands at the other stores.

First off, the map above is incorrect. This laundromat is located on the southeast corner of Plaza Road and Fair Lawn Avenue, not at the location shown. The phone number is correct though.

More importantly, I had been to this facility only 3 times and I had most unpleasant experiences each visit. The machines are more expensive than any other place I have ever used (each load costs $2.75 to wash and dry).

Their machines are frequently tempermental in accepting coins. They could not possibly be maintained properly either, or else I would not had lint all over my clothes at the end of the process.

The space is cramped with, in some places, only a couple of feet to walk around someone else using a machine immediately near the entrance and there are not nearly enough table spaces for folding. The parking is worse.

The final insulting straw was when I witnessed either the owner or manager with her teenage daughter using 8 dryers at one time for their wash and fold service on a busy Saturday morning when most self-service customers must use these machines. This usage should be limited to off-peak hours. When I complained about having to wait for a machine because of this (and I was not the only one), I was told to leave - and not very politely or even quietly. Both the mother and daughter (whom I never even addressed) were extremely defensive, rude and foul-mouthed - completely unbecomming of professional businesspeople.

This was a very convenient location for me, but nowhere near worth it. I will gladly travel farther in the future and I suggest everyone else do the same.
