Get your hands on a fresh roast beef hero with extra mozzarella and sun-dried tomatoes. have him drizzle sun-dried tomato oil all over the sandwich. Paradise!

Been trying to make it to Faiccos since I moved to manhattan 2 years ago. Hours are tight so it took me a while to find the right opportunity. Finally came in on a Saturday around 1.
The place was hoppin with people. And I don't blame them. The place is great. Between packaged products, deli meats, beef and poultry and sausages, cured meats, etc this place has some awesome products.
We went for the sandwiches but ended up getting rice and prosciutto balls, as well as a slew of different dried meats.
The rice ball ($1) was amazing. The prosciutto ball ($1.50) was good but a little too heavy for me. The hot sopresatta ($16.99/lb) was amazing. Got a quarter lb. Also got a garlic caciattore dried sausage ($16.99/lb). Haven't cracked into it yet.
Now for the sandwiches. We got the chicken cutlet with broc rabbe and the italian special. Both were between $12-14. The cutlet with broc rabbe was good but just slightly too dry. The fresh mozz helped though. The italian special on the other hand was incredible. Absolutely perfect. Hot peppers, dried meats, prosciutto, veggies, just awesome. We subbed turkey instead of ham which was a great move. The thing was absolutely loaded. Great deal. See pic.
Side note, get a side or two of hot peppers. Highly spicy peppers. Soooo good. Even if they are just eating alongside the sammies.
Will definitely be back any time I'm in west village.

I moved back to this area & one reason was Faicco's. / I kid you not! I love The Village but ultimately you have to eat.. Great store & the quality has never changed in all these decades. If you want less cheese on a sandwich( I don't like chunks of cheese either) let them know. Remember the frozen section under the sandwich section.. They're eggplant Parma is superlative besides other goodies .
