The server didn't come to our table for 20 minutes so we ordered drinks from the bar. Bartender didn't know how to make two of our cocktails, so we ordered a Moscow mule and a Manhattan which were $15 each. If this were an NYC hotel bar I would expect that, but there were drinks straight out of a dive bar that should have been $10 at the most.
Terrible service, we left without ordering food. Also, it was 43 degrees inside the restaurant. After coming here, I'm not surprised they couldn't pay their heat bill.

Worst experience ever. DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! Literally I almost finished boxing with the waiter. He is a french arrogant guy that maybe knows a lot of things but nothing about customer service. There are a lot of better places in NY for that price. Stay away from here!

This was the worst customer service I ever had in NY restaurant. Our waiter never bothered to ask if we want water and never checked in and was really out of it. When the bill came, we were overcharged for the wine. Another waiter said he would double check and instead they brought us same bill back. After asking for the wine list to compare the prices, we were correct, they overcharged us for the wine. The waiter never apologized, and said they had a busy night! Really?! I never will spend a penny here.

At a time when virtually no old school Jewish delis remain in North Brooklyn I applaud these guys for having the chutzpah to open one up and the location is perfect.
I come for the pastrami. Personally I prefer the Montreal smoke meat (off the lean end of the brisket) these guys do to the often too chewy, fatty, navel cut which other New York Deli's use. It all goes down well with a side of fries and a cold Dr Brown's.
Native New Yorker here to tell ya that my Montreal cousins consider this place the "real deal", the perfect blending of New York and Canadian Deli styles. They may be right!

I first enjoyed the City Winery in Chicago, where they have a spacious facility with a restaurant almost as large as the performance space. Here in the Village is a more intimate spot. The food was excellent as per usual. Great wine list.
We saw Kenny Loggins and the Blue Sky Riders and what a great room to enjoy them in. Terrific acoustics and sight-lines. A super performance.
I can't wait to enjoy more good music in this venue.
