It shows potential. They cook the fish perfectly, but tend to under season. I started with grilled sardines, which were good, but could have had a touch more garlic. My wife has a salad that everyone had to share - it was quite large. I had the whole Bronzino which was presented beautifully and, delightfully, fully butterflyed and deboned in the kitchen and reassembled. 10 out of 10 there, but then it was lacking something. More lemon, more herbs, more salt - anything. The wine list was short but with decent value. I would like to see a few more non-Californian whites. The bread brought before the meal was superb.

The service was trying hard, but fell a little short of what they seem to be shooting for. It was not slow, but the bussers where uncoordinated with the wait staff. Somehow the gigantic glassware made a table for 5 holding only 4 people seem crowded. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since they just opened and try again in a few months.

FWIW. f.i.s.h just opened in February 2016. There was previously another seafood restaurant in the same location, and somehow the reviews are crossed. Anything from before 2016 refers to Ahyan's Fish Kebab.

F.I.S.H on Main is a place that Port Washignton has been needing..

The food is spectacular, the service is on point and the ambiance is like no other!

I had their Tuna nachos for an appetizer and It left me wanting more! I highly recommend the jumbo stuffed shrimp, it's delicious, light and filling. My partner had the scallops.. Cooked to perfection, in addition it came with this amazing lobster risotto.. it's to die for. After everything we wanted a light dessert, the waitress recommendesd the Greek yogurt parfait... Perfect ending to a wonderful evening. Try it!

Horrible service. Showed up on time for reservation and waited 35 minutes to be seated while 3 people who appeared to be maitre d's bumbled around trying to figure out who would be seated. They had as much experience as high school kids. After being seated we waited 15 more minutes before a waiter approached table. No water. No bread. Food arrived late and was mediocre. This place needs new, professional management.

passable fish in a large noisy setting. good for a fast meal if you aren't looking for anything special.

great lunch restaurant. fair prices. consistant food. we go as agroup weekly for lunch.
