Unethical business practices are the standard here. My husband had an incident where they tried to charge him $200 to notarize some documents citing that they also review the documents. The maximum a notary can charge by law is $2. On instinct I investigated Franklin D. Pacheco and found that he is NOT a Certified Public Accountant as he was advertising. I reported him to the NYS Office of the Professions and they sent me a letter confirming that they had informed him that he could not hold himself out as such. If you go by there the CPA signage has been removed. In addition I verified with Baruch College that Pacheco holds a BBA, not an MBA!
Avoid this place at all costs and go to a real accountant. You can always verify a license through NY State.
