The doctor is good but the staff is probably the worst ever! I got glasses from them but the customer service that followed was horrible. They are RUDE. The lack of customer courtesy and price transparency (they overcharge) is very bad. Can't see them getting very many repeat customers. They Clearly have a LOT of work to do!

This shop is worst service and provide improper prescription, I went to this shop and doctor checked my eyes and write the prescription after that i checked the frames, one lady who works on the shop told me that all frames are start from 195 and none of them are covered under insurance this is hectic and horrible to listen, after that i ask her to give proscription so that i can buy in some where else but that lady gave me wrong prescription and with the wrong prescription i took the glasses after wearing those glasses i could not able read and see objects such a high power and complained to my insurance and went back to EYE shoppe almost 6 times to correct the prescription but they are not ready to do that as they did mistake, i never go to this shop and i never recommend to any one....
At one point of time i though of sue them but again after reading sue process i stopped to do that.

Let me preface this with I've never had an eye exam before but am now of an age where my eyesight seems to be a little worse for wear when it comes to reading/using my phone/staring at a computer screen! So I really didn't know what I needed in terms of eye testing, what to arrange and what details to provide.
I work in Hoboken and have walked past this place several times and thought wow looks very professional... I myself am a professional who deals with customers every day and know the importance of customer service esp to new customers by a local business... . So the shop looks great.. but that's where the good review ends as I didn't even get past the front door...
Wow unbelievably poor customer service. Rude and patronizing over the phone to the point of insulting. The nightmare of dealing with them in regards to insurance was infuriating. Now I know these things are often messy and the details need to be worked through, but to do so in such an arrogant, rude manner was what got me so annoyed/offended.
I cancelled my appointment in the end as I would rather give my business to a local provider that is interested in their customers and wish to help them through an often stressful and confusing process

I just had my first appointment today, and I will continue to come here. The doctor knew his sh*t. Also, I had a blast picking out frames with Stephanie. I said, "I want to look sexy," and BAM she made it happen. I won't complain about the price. It wasn't cheap, but I think I got the best experience possible. They helped me manage function and fashion... what more could I ask for?
