I stayed for two nights in this hostel and it was a big mistake. There was a "rapper" in the dorms, (one of the staff members..) living there permanently and he played music until 4 am. There is only one toilet/bathroom for all the guests.
the kitchen is ridiculously small. There are so many better places to stay in in NYC. I chose this place at the time because it was the cheapest, but they charged me TWICE so I ended up paying 100 dollars for the worst hostel experience in my life. I think that even if you are desperate, sleeping outside would be a better experience than this hostel.
