Lucy is the best!! I've had a very hard time finding a hairstylist since I moved to NY- they have either been super expensive or just horrible. Finally, I found Lucy. I didn't even realize this place was so close to my home.

First time when i was at Evelina's i was a little nervous because I'm an actor so my hair always has to be looking it's best. Sometimes hairdressers are specialized only with hair cuts or with hair colors but she is excellent in both.

After she starts to play with my hair i already understood that i can trust her. She is just amazing. Since i meet her i will not trust anyone else with my hair color. I came here second time before Easter to do my highlights and it came out just like i wanted.
She is very educated with the products she uses and always gives her clients attention and care.

I couldn't tell you how many times in the past at other salons how impersonal people can be. I'd sit in their chair tell them what I want done and then awkwardly sit in silence until it's time to pay the bill.

Lucy is far from that. She is friendly and fun and more than a stylist when you're in her chair. It is very important that for her, this isn't just a job, it's art. You can tell that she enjoys what she does and it reflects in her professionalism, knowledge, and skill.
I will recommend her to anyone.

Outstanding salon. There is not enough words you can tell about this place. You have to check it out for yourself. Today I was there and got a great haircut and color with Diana and best foot massage and pedicure with Carolina. She is so nice and does a great job. Every time I go there I get the best service...they are happy to see you again which is very important I think, it doesn't matter if it's just for manicure, pedicure, waxing or else. They always offer you coffee, tea or just cookies. Very sweet owner like everyone else is very friendly, place is very nice and very clean. My spot for the beauty and relaxation for sure. Would recommend it highly!

I really took a chance coming to this salon. I was searching some local salons in my work are and with Valentine's day the VERY NEXT DAY, I was nervous about just picking a spot. After reviewing their online website and gallery, I was very tempted to try them out.

I called and made the appointment When I arrived, just before closing, they welcomed me and even hung up my coat and offered me a seat. Before you knew it, I was in the chair and Lucy started playing with my hair. I wanted light pink and black, but she assured me it might not go with my skin tone. She suggested a rosey red! I was definitely interested in that!

She was so good with my hair and when she showed me the color, it was to die for! Then, she layered my hair and cut me some bangs! Her work is truly amazing and worth taking a chance for. All of the workers were active and actually interested in their work. MORE THAN PLEASED WITH MY TRIP TO EVELINA'S BEAUTY SALON. They were even kind enough to give me some coupons for my friends. Everyone loves my hair and I can't stop getting compliments about it. LOVE IT!

The first experience me and daughter had made us not want to go anywhere else. Lucy is a very friendly and warm and personable person. She made me and my daughter feel at home. You can't help but smile when you walk into Evelina Beauty Salon. She cuts your hair to the way you want it. She will always be honest with you about your hair. She will never cut your hair just because she is scissor happy (like other salons have done to us in the past). I would recommend Evelina Beauty Salon to anyone who wants a great haircut and wants to feel welcome and at home.

Wawwww.... Amazing Beauty Salon!!! I was traveling from South Florida and staying in Ridgewood, NY over my friend. I had to have my hair done and my friend took me to this Beautiful place called Evelina Beauty Salon. The atmosphere and the service was outstanding!!! "Thank you Lucy for making my hair so perfect."
