I ordered xmas eve dinner because my mother was going through cancer treatments and was unable to cook. I spent over $147 on food for that evening. Most of the food was saturated in oil and over cooked. The stuffed mushrooms tasted old and the shrimp was very fishy.
To make matters worse, everyone who ate at my house complained of an upset stomach afterwards.
When I called Esposito's pizzeria, and told them of my families experience, they responded by saying that no one else complained about the food so he could not offer me a refund. He said that I did not make an attempt to return the food in a timely fashion, but he was closed on Xmas eve evening and Christmas day. I live in New York and was unable to return the Frankenstein style food in a timely fashion. This of course was an excuse to avoid giving me a refund.
I had to go through my credit card company to actually get the refund and spent several hours and nerves contesting the charges. My credit card company was nice enough to refund the full amount to me, but Esposito's only offered a $25 refund, which was insulting.
Esposito's ruined my holiday and I must say that the insensitivity towards my mother's cancer treatments was appalling. They also claimed to know my mother, which made this experience even more offensive.
Esposito's is nothing more than a low rate pizzeria that pawn themselves off as a restaurant to jack the prices on their customers. AVOID THIS PLACE!
