Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Enterprise Hackensack .. Not Good experience. Lot of time waste during pickup and drop. During drop for $2 gas ..they charge $10. Not recommended at all.

I got a one-way rental on a busy Sunday morning. I called the Hackensack office several times to remind them in advance I needed a hotel pickup but still had a long wait. However, they more than made up for this by sending a delightfully pleasant, thorough and courteous rep named Tre who gave me a free upgrade to a much roomier vehicle than the smallest one I had ordered online. I had a very enjoyable drive and was warmly welcomed by the staff at the Geneseo, New York office at the end of my trip. The one-way surcharge and cost of putting more gas in the upgraded vehicle added substantially to the cost of the transaction, but it was worth it for the convenience on a Sunday. I would definitely give the Hackensack location of Enterprise my business on the next trip to the area.

I had a hiccup the first time I rented from this Hackensack location. The car was old and stalled on me on Rte 4. I told the person at the counter when I returned the vehicle and they were very apologetic and offered a discount which I graciously accepted. I've been renting from this location ever since. CUSTOMER SERVICE is so important to me and the folks at this location excel in this department. NaNa, Frantz, Miguel, Zach and Trey all go above and beyond the call of duty each time I rent and the pick up drop off service is a bonus. I will always make this my go to location when renting in the Tri state area.

Normally i use to go to Lodi location. Very good and helpful staff. Last time i went to hacknsack location and had a terrible experiance. They dont accept USAA. I can say they are monsters. Messed up my whole day because of them. Never renting in enterprise again.

My experience with rental was fine. Unfortunately, when I returned the car I left (3) articles inside (iphone headphones, sunglasses and EZ pass). The Branch was able to retrieve the EZ pass and glasses. I did email the asst. Mgr the night of return (no reply rec'd). Fortunately, I followed up with a phone call the very next morning.
