Usually I have no problems here, but my rental for the July 4th weekend was a very negative experience. There were lots of reservations – no surprise for a holiday weekend – but after the first few people were taken care of, this location simply did not have any more cars. About 20 of us had to wait for several hours while the staff called other locations to see if they had extra cars, and called customers scheduled to return their rentals that day to find out when they’d be returning. I waited over 2 hrs. and there was still a crowd waiting when I finally got a car. I understand this is a small location, but why not either keep additional cars in a nearby lot or just don’t take reservations you can’t honor in a reasonable amount of time? When I finally got a car, I realized (after driving away) that it was Canadian—so the speedometer was only in km. What a pain. I’m a longtime customer, but after this I’m not sure I’d want to go back to Enterprise again.
