Have seen Dr. Salzer and my husband Dr. Becker...It is a great office...Very organized and staff is extremely helpful...Have never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a scheduled appointment...Very competent group.

When I called to set up an appointment with Dr. Behrens for my knee, I was assured multiple times I DID NOT need a referral and my insurance was accepted ( I specifically asked because I had called several doctors to try to find one to take my insurance), only to find when I arrived, the person who set my appointment did not know what she was talking about.

Then I had to sign a waiver to keep the appointment, which basically said I had to pay if my insurance wasn't accepted - this was the only way to get into the appointment I had set a month before.

Now I have huge bills for "not having a referral" , even though my primary doctor gave me a prescription and would gladly have given a referral. When I emailed and called Englewood Orthepedic asking for a response about the incompetence of the front desk staff, I got no response (i.e ignored).

My fault for not understanding my insurance and trusting the staff here.

I cannot recommend this company - take your business elsewhere. I have!
