I am a doctor. Shame on you Endoscopy Center of Paramus! This place is about one thing only: to bill your insurance as much as they can get away with. You are only $$$$ to them; not a human, not a patient. As I received an endoscopy there, I was appalled of how this center manages their patients. It seemed to me that the goal of Paramus Endoscopy is to push them in, push them out. Besides myself and two persons on either side of me as we waited stripped to our underwear we each waited an hour and a half before any one of us were rolled in for the procedure. I know I showed up on time but at least ten other procedures were done before mine was called in. I know! I counted. For the 1 1/2 hours with the one flimsy prison blanket. We laid there
in very uncomfortable cold room on gurneys when a nurse, "assistant"
finally offered an extra blanket as I froze, I was called in into the Endo room. The anesthesiologist
(or possibly a PA who is not a real doctor) ignored my repeated attempt to remind her of my discomfort with an anesthetic she uses. I asked her to use an older but still commonly used type. She refused and essentially gave me the choice, no procedure or take the anesthetic, I did and I suffered for it.
This place is everything that is wrong with medicine today. They will smile at you nicely until you are rolled behind the doors and the production line begins. I am a doctor and I would never, and have never, had my patients used this way. Patients are people: Paramus Endoscopy at 80 Eisenhower! Not just $$$$. Many of us are ill, not feeling well, and sick. Don't treat us as a production line. Shame on you Endoscopy Center of Paramus!
