Endocrine Associates-Nassau: Friedman Seth G MD

My experience with Dr. Friedmans office was overall positive. His office staff is courteous and I received a prompt appointment. Dr. Friedman spent a long time with me and explained the various treatment options available. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone needing an endocrinologist.

The quality of the medicine was adequate, however the people to people interaction was at times rude, insensitive, removed from personal contact that would have made this patient at ease and comfortable. (I guess you call this bedside manner) Diabetes is 50% physical manifestation and 50% in the mind and there was a disconnection that would have bridged the gap. Sussan Wasserman is an asset to this practice because she placed as the Nurse counselor more concentration to the mental well being of the freighting aspect of insulin dependence and real life we live. Dr Freedman has no clue how to talk to people without placing himself on a high pedestal. Very disappointed with the office as they felt 6 months between visits is OK when treating a 62 year old male when this patient lost a sibling at this same age. Yes I needed more than simple prescriptions, I needed understanding not to be told on my first visit 7 months ago to see a shrink. Shameful general medicine!
