Here's the thing... for a rehearsal studio, it "got the job done". Wasn't the best experience, but if you're in a bind, like i was, it'll work. First of all, its in a storage facility, but it was a clean facility. The 15$ an hour room was a little cramped for 4 people but came with a backline, not the best quality stuff, but again got the job done. Was very hot despite the in-room air conditioner. Like i said, it'll get the job done, but wouldn't be my first choice. The people running it were friendly, so that helped.

I rent a space from Empire Rehearsal Studios, in BK. There are many percs to this facility: Good Customer Service, 24/7 Access w/ Security all hours, Inexpensive, and its close to main highways, with a subway station a blocks away. What i love about this place is that, its off the radar, a place where you can either Practice with a band, or hone your skills alone. This is a comfortable, well maintained building. Enjoy.

I go on the road for long periods of time. I can barely call Brooklyn my home. But I call Empire/City Closet my home for Rehearsal Studios. The spaces are really nice, with carpet, drapes, and ac units.. Bathrooms are clean. Management is awesome. You can't go wrong here. Leases are month to month- When I am in BK-I rent a space, When I go on the road, I just move out. Pure Convinience! It's everything rock and roll wants in a studio!
