Hands down, my favorite coffee shop in town. The people there are always great, the coffee is super fresh! and they have a ton of high quality options. If you can't find your perfect cup at Empire, you're a snob and you never will! :-P

Nice service and atmosphere, solid food and coffee. Their expansion plans sound promising, too.

The place is too crowded and filled with locals occupying the few seats available. Moreover, the terrace is filled with too many dogs and their water and food bowls. Finally, locals feeding the birds is in my opinion a major drawback.
As regards the coffee, their regular coffee is simply too regular and the Almond Joy is way too sweet. The blueberry banana muffin was average.
My recommendation is to watch the place from the distance as the shop looks nice and attractive but do not waste your coffee drinking there.

Very friendly staff, very easy to ask questions of and approachable. There's a very wide selection of their own beans. They also have a tea room with around 20 different types of Teas. The seating is not very extensive, but there is outdoor seating. I'm definitely going to be visiting this place regularly, I think it's important to get a decent deal at a good price and these guys have it.

Wow. This place is stunning. There is SO much open space. I felt like I could breathe when I walked in. Sometimes the city is so overwhelming and crowded. It was nice to find a spot where I could sit quietly and enjoy my coffee. I'm not a total coffee snob, but I though my cappuccino was light and delicious.
