Empire Carpet

I hired Empire Carpet to install laminate hardwood flooring in our designer showroom. We sell high end Kitchen and Bath Products and wanted a high end looking floor but at a price that was within our budget.

We selected a white maple finish. All the designers that come to our showroom ask where we got it and we say Empire Carpet. The team that installed it was very good also. It was a big job and it was finished in one day. I am buying real hardwood flooring for my home from there also.

We bought out condo several years ago & now it was time for the look of hardwood flooring. We checked around & Empire Carpeting proved to be the best value. We wanted to use Pergo or even bamboo but the salesperson showed us a cherry laminate and we loved it.

The hardwood flooring installer arrived a few days later & installed the floor. He explained how to care for it also. We absolutely love the look the new hardwood floor gave the space. We were also very happy with the sales & service we received form Empire Carpet.

I needed carpeting replaced on the staircase of my condo. I was searching around on Google looking for carpet installation companies. Then I stumbled upon Empire Carpet. They had five-star review after five-star review.

I had planned on contacting a couple different places and getting quotes. Then I read someone's review for different carpet installer that felt pressured to sign a contract right then and there. And they were way overpriced! I don't like high-pressure sales situations, so I figured I'd save myself a lot of time, money and aggravation and contacted Empire Carpet.

The estimator came out next day and looked at the staircase. After talking with him for a while, he actually recommended a less expensive carpet. We signed the contract right then and there (though I didn't feel pressured to!), and the crew was scheduled to come out the next week. There were three guys in the crew. They seemed to have this down to an exact science. It only took for them two and a half or three hours from start to finish. They were really efficient and did a great job. Overall, it was a great experience.

We moved into a new (to us) house in Queens, NY about a year ago. The previous owners had older wall-to-wall carpet down and at the beginning we did call Empire Carpet to have it cleaned.

It looked much better but anyway we decided to replace it for something more sophisticated. We pulled it up and had Empire replace it with a very nice hardwood. The installers did the entire house (2800 s/f).

They did a fantastic job. We couldn't believe how quickly they were able to complete the job, and they were very detail oriented (with the molding, etc.). We found them very easy to communicate with. We get compliments on the floor all the time, and couldn't be happier with hardwood floor installation!!

Last week I had a carpet disaster which had me thinking I was going to have to replace my entire basement carpet. Out of 3 different contractors bidding on my project, Empire Carpet came out and gave me something new and exciting to think about doing besides spending a ton of money replacing expensive wall-to-wall carpet. Needless to say, I went with Empire Carpet.

They removed my bad carpet, installed beautiful hardwood flooring, and even managed to salvage the good parts of my old carpet to make an awesome area rug. They did all this within a week of the bid. All the installers who were at the house were extremely professional and neat. I couldn't believe how little dust there actually was and the installer actually vacuumed my new area rug!

The price for the project ended up being a lot less than what I was expecting and the space looks so rich and warm. I love it a lot. I can't stop smiling in my basement.
