Professor Emerson is not only a World Champion in BJJ and a wealth of knowledge, he is also an outstanding teacher who is always on the mats improving his students. The staff and student body have high level Jiu Jitsu but are very friendly and all around great people. No meat-head mentalities here! Highly recommend!

Emerson Souza teaches every class! They have yoga, bjj, muay thai, and one on one fitness training if requested. As of Dec 2011 the school now has 3 black belt, 5 brown belts, and alot of Purple, Blue and White Belts. Very friendly atmosphere, yet competitive training environment. Facilities have shower, gym, locker room and two floors fully mated and containing pads. Highly recommended place to train.

I've trained a lot of different places, including Brazil and Emerson is one of the top jiu jitsu instructors. If you show dedication and loyalty to the school, the sky is the limit. He's always available for privates and he teaches all the classes, unlike a lot of other big name schools. The atmosphere of the class is always friendly and most people aren't there to just rip your head off, they wanna learn and improve their skills so I would highly recommend this school.
