We loved the "old slavonic" leg of lamb and the eel salad. The waiter siggested a red wine that we never tried before, which went great with the lamb. We definily plan to return many times and try everything on the menu. Our only mild disappointment was that they had no Eastern European or Central Asian desserts, only a few Italian ones, which were fine.

I never ever seen this!
I never ever seen such poor service in my life!
Evening was spoiled from the beginning! First of all because of a waitress-Rima, all evening she just show to us her careless attitude maybe because she is the sister of the owner of this poor- "restaurant"! We have not got what we wanted, at all!
Second of all the food was absolutely raw!
And in the end of the evening the waitress brought us coffee cups with hair!
O no, never again we do not go to this terrible place!

It was our first time and last time. Pour service.Just before you go you must call for instructions what to order and for how much money they will accept you. IT'S NOT CUSTOMER IMPORTANT IT'S IMPORTANT FOR HOW MUCH MONEY YOU ORDER!!!!SO PLEASE CALL FOR INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU GO!!!!For sure we didn't had relaxing evening that we were hoping for...left in the middle even didn't got to dessert. really upsetting experience...sorry..
p.s. if you want to ask something talk to the owner not waiter.then you might be ok.

Wow!!!! I loved dining here! It was fun and the food was excellent! The place was such a feast for the eyes!!! I can understand why it's been in business forever. It is a must for every visitor and New Yorker to come here at least once!
