Though they were very gentle with my dog Oreo they did nothing to help her during her medical emergency of an intestinal blockage. I essentially paid $93 to be told to take her to a regular vet because it would be cheaper. When Oreo's condition worsened 2 days later I took her to Animal Medical Center where they saved her life and didn't request an enormous payment before helping her. So thanks for the $93 advice, I guess.

Just came home from here because my cat Sandy had a UTI, the receptionist on the phone was so caring after me asking a mlion and one questions, he said to me if I feel nervous about my baby they are there 24hours, it was because of him I brought my cat there. The Dr was amazing sooooo attentive and with a smile, she took her time checking my cat, and found that what we thought were ear mites was actually an infection!!!! She treated my cat gave us detailed instructions on taking care of her at home, I would definitely be going back here again!!. Thank you Elmhurst Animal Hospital, we are forever greatful.

Not only did they just take us for all the money they could after promising to get my baby girl home 95% on the 2nd day when we wanted to put her to sleep bc she was in sooo much pain, but the Dr.said I can save this dog she is 5 yrs old. So we let her stay another day holding on to false hope but on Saturday the 24th of October 2015 our blue nose pit bull Bella passed away at 6:30. I told all the staff to call us at any time but I was not notified until 9:30!!! So long story short never take your pet there!!!!

Doctors are friendly, staff was friendly, 24 hour service is a plus but they just wanted Money. Ok fine, $850 for stitches on my Blue Nose Pitbull's paw, instant service, why not? Supply and demand. They told me to put a E-collar on her to prevent her from taking the stitches off so i did. But, as professionals they were pretty dumb for not telling me to put a mussel on her because dogs can reach every paw to their mouth even with a E collar. So i took her to the hospital after i realized my dog Brooklyn took off her stitches prior to the same week i had to bring her back to take her stitches removed anyways and all i asked was, "just check up on her foot, she took off the stitches already i want to know if she will be okay. I know im suppose to come back with no fee to take her stitches off but since she did so herself, may the doctor check her foot just to see if she's okay." And of course they asked for more money. . . The doctors must not love animals. DO NOT GO HERE EXPECTING THEM TO GIVE A SHIT ABOUT YOUR PET.
