I saw Dr. Fishkin initially yesterday as a referral from Dr. Ed Somma. I had to wait for about a month to get an appointment but Rochelle was very nice to explain to me that first time patients need a longer time for initial consult. I requested to be the last patient.
I have to tell everyone, this is one doctor's office that has all the elements of a good medical practice. The staff is commendable... friendly, accommodating, chart was prepared with complete medical records (called me days before and the day of the appt. to make sure that they don't miss records that are needed), interviews were done without rush, preliminary questions were explained thoroughly, and very particular in noting medications being taken.
I am beyond good words to describe Dr. Fisshkin, both as a doctor and as a person. He made me feel very comfortable throughout the interview and examination. Before he even entered the exam room, he already read my prior records and medical history. Explained in detail why every question is asked and explained why is it affecting my complicated medical condition since I am a breast cancer survivor and was diagnosed with pulmonary embolism. He LISTENED to what I was telling him and he made sure that I understand what he was telling me (explaining in layman's term). He ordered some tests for further evaluation and discussed possible further treatment. The whole visit took about 2 hrs but it was all worth it... quite frankly... I did not feel that I had been there that long because I felt that all is there to help me get well.... I don't think that the word RUSH is in their directory
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. FISSHKIN TO ALL.,,, THEY DESERVE 10 STARS !!!
