Elizabethtown Gas

They say i have a $350 balanace from 2008. Tryi ng to connect gas now n they refuse to carry this so called balance on to the account im trying to open. Im currently 6months pregnant and have a 8yr old daughter. Forced to be without gas to cook for my family and hot water to bathe. Pse&g is a bigger company and they transfer remanding balances over without a problem.Elizabethtown gas is a p.o.s company, money hungry scammers

They couldn't come for over a week, all the while I will be without cooking gas or hot water. Then I have to be home for 4 hours waiting. This is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with in moving.

The rep argued about my prior conversation to cancel the budget bill for about 20 mins. Very poorly ran with absolutely incompetent employees.

Rep told me on a Monday she had made our appt for "Friday". What she failed to mention was that it was 2 Fridays afterwards (2 weeks later). Now I'm stuck in my apartment with no gas for 2 weeks. And the supervisor, when I asked to speak to her, didn't even come to the phone. Who knew that Elizabethtown Gas was busier than PSEG that powers gas and light for the whole country. Its comical, and they're morons. I wish we had another option for gas in Elizabeth.

There is nothing about this company I like. They do not know there ass from their elbow. A simple meter reading from 12-4 window and they never showed. It is now 9:13pm and they still never showed. They said they were on there way about hr and half ago. Now all offices are closed even tho they had said they can be reached until 12. Know right person in their mind would let someone in there house at midnight! Also the meter is probably outside and no need to come in. They have no communication with their drivers to even egnolage an actual time of when they should arrive. It's back and forth trying to get some sort of answer from them. This is a horrible company and obviously they don't care about first impressions for new customers. Would switch if I had a choice.
