Elements Massage

I have been going to Elements Massage in Totowa regularly for the past year or so. It's always an amazing experience! The therapists at Elements are top notch! They are all very professional, talented and courteous. The owners and staff are also fantastic! I highly recommend Elements to anyone!

Groupon deal. Don't pay spa money, they're not a spa! Same day 60 min booking. Massage was good and staff is friendly. My issue is after. I totally believe in completing surveys to help a company better themselves. I do so, and state everyone was nice but they didn't stand out. Very average experience. I actually get call to discuss my comments. After asking why i said it was average the woman completely shoots down my response, We're not a spa and we don't try to be she says. We do therapeutic massages. Spas charge more money than us. I asked what a reg session would've been, 99.00 she says. I said well that's pretty comparable to spas. No they charge 100-125 per session. They're much higher than us. Seriously? Why waste your time getting feedback if you're not going to take the constructive criticism? This place is literally 3 minutes from my house and i had every intention of returning until that phone call. Don't pay spa money, they're not a spa!

Not impressed at all. So annoyed. I went to the doctor on Monday whom told me I pulled a muscle in my shoulder. I came home and looked up message places near where I live. I found Elements Therapeutic Massage who had high ratings and a coupon for $40 off a 60 minute massage. I called and asked how much an hour massage would be and the guy told me $59.00 plus tax and gratuity. I told him I had a $40 coupon and I would like to make an appointment thinking I was getting this awesome deal. After my massage, he rings me up and the total came to sixty something dollars. I reminded him I had a coupon for $40 off and he said he took that off already and that the message was normally $99.00. I advised him that I was not told that. He said he booked the appointment and told me. He didn't. Than he had the nerve to make a comment about the tip I left suggesting it wasn't enough for a massage valued at $99.00. It was insulting. I canceled my follow up appointment and will stick to Massage Envy from now on. Ugh!!! The message itself was good especially since the therapist only had a couple months experience. I will never go back to Elements.

Massage was so so, masseuse admittingly did not have much experience. I was able to get an appointment on very short notice which was nice. The front desk staff pushed their discounted monthly subscription. I advised a didn't think I would need to get a massage each month and was given the quick response of being able to put the account on hold and cancel anytime if not being used. Shame on me for not carefully reading the fine print and taking the "salesperson's" word for how the subscription worked.

I signed up the last week of April, called to cancel in May and was told I needed to come in to cancel. I went in on June 1 to cancel and was told I would need to pay for May, June, and July's monthly subscription rate as there is a 30 day cancellation fee. Again, shame on me.

I was then told I would need to use all three massages by the end of July. The alternative was to pay a $10 fee to convert the massages to a gift card. Given the options, I chose to get a gift card. My card was then charged $30 and I was explained after the fact that it was a $10 charge per massage. All this aggravation, I can use a massage...

The service: Great, the front desk and the therapists are all great - I felt very comfortable going into the salon and getting my massage.

The Massage: amazing, again the therapist made you feel comfortable and go out of their way to ask you questions and to make sure they hit on any trouble areas.

The Facility:VERY clean and beautiful decor. Loved it.
