Went there on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed ! We had the tallarin verde with bisteck which also came with some papa la huancaina it was DELICIOUS! Both my kids ate from here and we still had plent of meat left over to take home. My mom order arroz chaufa especial which was also Delicious... Packed with plenty of meat and shrimps. As an appetizer we has chicharron de pescado, it was nice and crispy. The portion sizes are good almost family style.
They had someone come and sing typical Peruvian songs which was a nice touch. The place is a nice size, not the nicest but I am sure they will fix it up a bit in the future. They have a bar which is a PLUS ...
The only reason why I didnt give all stars is because they do not have homemade chicha. All the drinks were bottled... The food would have gine better with some homemade chicha and not the bottle. They also had picarones on the menu and when we went to order they said they did not have it....
The prices were ok... For 4 people 2 of them being kids (1 preteen and the other school age) the bill came out to 65 which included tip. It was not bad at all for 3 main dishes, 4 drinks and tip.

I went there this weekend and had to wait about 40 minutes for a table. Once seated we ordered also had to wait about 30 mins for our food however worth every minute. The Jalea which is fried seafood tasted completely fresh and crispy. The chaufa especial which is fried rice with chicken, meat and shrimp was excellent and also had the tallarine Verde which is pasta with a green sauce made of basil, cream and fresh cheese along with a huge steak was out of this world, seasoned to perfection. The service was also pretty good considering the waitresses were extremely busy. For drinks we had piña colada and a rum and coke. Best piña colada ever tasted. Eventually the owner came to the table to check how everything was, she was very attentive and I asked about the pina colada and she said it was a recipe that included condensed milk which considering the price of the ingredients was excellent prices and portions. Only complaint was the waiting for a table and then the food but well worth considering that there food and service is wonderful. Definitely will return. Thanks to all the staff at El Tiburon II.

I went to El Tiburon II this weekend with my family and ordered a family size ceviche, chaufa and choros a la chalaca. Boy the food was amazing. The food took a little longer than expected, but it was detinitely worth the wait. We also had the most delicious piña colada I've ever had anywhere. Service was great as well, our waitress was wonderfully attentive. I forgot to mention that I'm from Newburgh NY and I didn't understand why my family wanted to go all the way to El Tiburon so bad, but now I do. I can't wait to come back to El Tiburon II in Kearny!

I was driving by this past Friday with my husband on a way to another restaurant in Kearny Ave and past by El Tiburon restaurant. It looked packed from the outside so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was great. I ordered the arroz chaufa mixto and churrasco. We will be going back to El Tiburon!
